Alberta is known for oil - but what about the environment?
You may not know that Alberta is:
  • Home to the world's first waste-to-biofuels facility
  • Site of one of largest CCS projects - Quest CCS
  • Developing CO2 infrastructure, which will open this year
  • Creating innovative policies to enable CCS
  • Phasing out coal power generation

Mr. Ken Hughes, Alberta's former Minister of Energy, presented his views on the emerging opportunities in Alberta's energy sector.

This Breakfast Briefing took place at the Oslo Chamber of Commerce, Henrik Ibsens gate 100, 0255 Oslo (Indekshuset at Solli Plass).

The traditional Canadian breakfast with pancakes and Canadian maple syrup was served.
