Guest Speakers

Lisa Taylor

As President of Challenge Factory and the Centre for Career Innovation, Lisa offers a dynamic perspective on the Future of Work and how demographics, the freelance economy and new market dynamics present opportunities to gain strategic advantage. Lisa is the author of “Retain and Gain: Career Management for Small Business” and "Retain and Gain: Career Management for Non-Profits and Charities, two sector-specific playbooks chock full of low-cost and no-cost activities for managers. Her third book, the Talent Revolution: Longevity and the Future of Work is published by University of Toronto Press Rotman Imprint (2019).

Laura E. Mercer Traavik

Laura E. Mercer Traavik is Associate dean and professor at BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo Norway.  Her research and teaching interests include diversity, inclusion, and negotiations.  She has her PhD and master’s degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, Bergen Norway and a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.

Helene Hermansen – Simonsen Vogt Wiig

Helene Hermansen is the chairman of the board of the CNBA and works as an associate at Simonsen Vogt Wiig. Simonsen Vogt Wiig is a leading corporate law firm with offices in the largest cities in Norway as well as an office in Singapore. Helene is part of SVW’s corporate and mergers and acquisitions department. She has extensive experience with large and complex transactions, both within Norway and for international clients. As part of her law degree, Helene studied at the University of Calgary in Alberta. 

Vegard Rooth – Interimleder

Vegard Rooth joined InterimLeder AS as managing director in January 2015. He was a member of the board from 2010-2014, and also serves as a board member in Børge Ousland AS. Since 2006 he has completed a number of interim management assignments and has held temporary positions as CEO or other management roles for companies such as Abax, Advania, TeamUp Automasjon AS, VRS, Swisslog, ICA, Scanmar, Altia, Veolia and Nordic Aero. He was educated at the Oslo School of Management, holds a Master of Management from the Norwegian Business School BI and has additional qualifications from Stanford University and University of Oxford.
