The Norway Canada Institute facilitates and supports enhanced relationships between the peoples of Canada and Norway.

The Norway Canada Institute Award of Excellence, to be presented to a Norwegian student through the Norway-America Association (NORAM), is valued at $1,000 USD and will be awarded to a Norwegian student, currently living in Norway or Canada. The Norway Canada Institute Award of Excellence will specifically support students pursuing a Bachelor, Master’s, PhD or Postdoctoral degree, in any field of study, who can demonstrate an element of Canadian comparison in their research and/or studies. In addition, students seeking funding to support travel and attendance at international conferences, or to facilitate the dissemination of their research to Canadian institutions, are also eligible.
